September 2018 Feng Shui Update

September 8 takes us into the month of Metal Rooster. We are now in the middle of autumn in the Chinese calendar.

The Metal Rooster brings a much-needed feminine energy into what’s been a very masculine year of the Yang Earth Dog. We’re in for a social month as the Rooster is also a “Peach Blossom” (a star of romance) in Chinese Astrology. Yin Metal, associated with planet Venus and the color gold, is also the element of beauty and glamour.

August 7 takes us into the second half of the year of the Earth Dog and the month of the Metal Monkey. It also marks the beginning of autumn in the Chinese calendar, a season ruled by Metal – a reprieve after a particularly heavy first half of the year dominated by strong Earth element.
