We’re now in the month of the Metal Tiger, a time of new beginnings, with both annual and monthly environmental energies we refer to as Feng Shui shifting into new directions, affecting our environment and immediate surroundings.

The year of the Golden Ox begins on February 3rd, 2021 in the solar calendar. On this day, the annual heavenly influences that we refer to as “flying stars” in classical Feng Shui shift into new directions, affecting the energy of the environment, including the spaces we occupy. Instead of the usual monthly Feng Shui update, we’ll take a look at 2021’s annual stars as foresights to what we can anticipate in the year of the Ox.

January 5 takes us into the month of the Earth Ox. It’s the end of winter and the last month of the year of the Rat in the Chinese solar calendar. Although the new year of the Metal Ox is still a month away, we can feel its influence taking over strongly in January, with the monthly flying stars mirroring the annual flying stars of the Ox year in the Feng Shui chart, offering us a preview of the year ahead.
